Percorso ad anello nella valle di Cintoia, nel tracciato di una vecchia strada selciata etrusca, poi romana e medievale che portava a Firenze attraversando il castelli diSezzate e di Mugnana. Particolarmente interessanti durante l'escursione sono i i resti ancora in parte visibili di mulini ed opere idrauliche lungo il Rio Sezzate risalenti al secolo scorso utilizzati sia per la produzione di energia elettrica che per la macinatura del grano.
